This website and the ManaMD app for iPhone and iPad are operated by ManaMD, LLC ("we"). This policy covers both. It describes what we collect, what we do with it, and what we deliberately do not collect. We have tried to write it so you can actually read it.
If you submit the demo request or support form, we receive the information you type: your name, work email, company, role, and anything you put in the message fields. We use it to respond to you and for no other purpose. Form submissions are processed and stored by Netlify, our hosting provider.
Like every website, our host records standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested). We run no analytics scripts, no advertising trackers, and we set no tracking cookies. Fonts are served from Google Fonts, which means Google receives the IP request for the font files.
The app is built offline-first. Visit logs, follow-ups, account notes, statuses, and your display name are stored on your iPhone or iPad. If you grant location permission, your position is shown on the territory map; it is not stored or transmitted. Notifications are generated on the device.
When we introduce licensed team accounts, we will collect the information needed to administer seats (name, work email, and license status), and team features will sync field activity (visits, follow-ups, and notes) to secure, organization-scoped storage so it follows you across devices. We will update this policy when that changes what we hold.
The app displays professional information about physicians and facilities, such as names, specialties, practice locations, procedure volumes, and payments, drawn from public federal datasets published by CMS, NPPES, openFDA, and ClinicalTrials.gov. This is professional information about providers in their business capacity. The app contains no patient records and no protected health information, and we never collect any.
When you use an AI feature (a pre-call brief, a territory question, a talk track), the relevant territory or account context is sent over an encrypted connection to our AI provider, Anthropic, to generate the response. Under the API terms we use, these requests are not used to train AI models. AI context is built from the public datasets above and, where relevant, notes you choose to include.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with anyone except the service providers named in this policy (Netlify for hosting and forms, Anthropic for AI processing, Apple for app distribution), or where the law requires it.
Form submissions are kept as long as needed to handle your inquiry and our sales records. Field data stored on your device is yours; deleting the app removes it from the device. To ask what we hold about you, or to have it corrected or deleted, contact us at support@manamd.com or through the support page and we will respond within a reasonable time.
Our website and app are business tools intended for working professionals. They are not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
If this policy changes, we will update this page and its effective date. Material changes to what we collect will be called out, not buried.
